Leave it up to the professionals

It's not how we wanted to spend our money, but paying professionals to come in and take care of our mess of our house is the smartest decision we've made thus far. After just two days they've got all the wallpaper down and the walls mudded. One day of sanding and another of priming and our house will start looking like a house again.

We also got a great quote to finish the hardwoods in the dining room. That too should be completed next week. Once they are done, we'll pay someone to put carpet in the living room, paint and take a nice long break. My goal is to get everything completed by the time we leave for our honeymoon in January so when we get back we can really start our marriage without a long list of house renovations.

Here's hoping nothing else rears it's ugly head!
