We're several projects and several thousand dollars away from getting the house where I'd like it to be. I can't speed up that process anymore, so it's time to start getting comfortable where I can. Today, the family room.
I spent the weekend unpacking books and picture frames to add to our built-ins. It's amazing the life a picture can bring to a room. I'm about to order some wedding photos, which will add to the number of picture frames.
While the area puts a smile on my face for now, it won't be complete until we get a mantle and our TV above the fireplace, but it should keep me happy for a few days while we set dates to get the wallpaper in the foyer, kitchen and bathroom down and get new floors in the living and dining rooms.
